About

A small label, run deliberately

Late Cadence Records is a small independent label building a catalogue of original music across ten projects – from neoclassical piano to UK garage, liquid drum & bass to modern Americana. Each project has its own sound, its own visual world and its own reason to exist.

How we work

Music first, then everything else

Each project begins with a music bible: what it sounds like, what it is for, and what it will never do. From there every track gets a written brief before a note exists. Music is produced, reviewed and either kept, reworked or archived – most candidates do not survive that gate.

A track is only scheduled once its rights and provenance record is complete. Nothing is released to fill a calendar.

Provenance and disclosure

Every Late Cadence project is a music project, not a fictional person. We do not invent performers, biographies, hometowns or tour histories, and we do not imitate the voice or identity of any real artist. Our music is produced with AI tools under a paid commercial licence, with human direction, lyrics, selection and editing at every stage, and we complete the AI disclosure fields each platform asks for.

No impersonation
We never prompt for, name or imitate a real artist’s voice or style, and we do not fabricate performer photographs or biographies.
Original material only
No unauthorised samples and no copied lyrics. Lyrics are written in house before music production begins.
Disclosure
AI credits are recorded accurately for audio, composition and lyrics wherever a platform provides the fields, including YouTube’s synthetic content disclosure.
Rights record
Every released track carries a provenance record and an approved commercial-licence download kept on file before release.
